She is survived by: her mother Ofa Hardin (Gay) of Scottsburg, Indiana; her close friend John Schroeder of Scottsburg, Indiana; her son Mike Higdon of Scottsburg, Indiana; her siblings, Vickie Hardin of Scottsburg, Indiana, Albert Hardin of Scottsburg and Matt Hardin (Linda) of Scottsburg; and her grandchildren, Paul Higdon and Shannon Reynolds (Jason).
