With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gastell McDonald (Scottsburg, Indiana), born in Butler, Kentucky, who passed away on April 5, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Threlkel and Delphia Leitner (Raymer); her husband John W. McDonald; and her siblings, Betty Tomes and Thomas Lee Threlkel.
She is survived by: her children, Jason Smith (Trish) of Scottsburg, Indiana, Tina Smith of Panama City and Holli Givens (Billy) of Franklin, Tennessee; and her siblings, Rick Threlkel of Memphis, Larry Threlkel of Salem, Indiana and Marlene Kirkpatrick of Blocher, Indiana. She is also survived by four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several stepchildren and step grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions may be given to the Scott County Museum c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
