With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elmer Law of Scottsburg, Indiana, who passed away on February 7, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Law and Dorothy Law (Means); his siblings, Rachel Smith, Carl Law, Joyce Lewis, Ted Law and Wolffard Law; and his nephew David Law, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his sons, Ronnie Law of Scottsburg, Harry Law (Rose) of Underwood, David Law (Donna) of Scottsburg and Charlie Law of Lexington, Indiana; his siblings, Elizabeth Hall (Bob) of Madison, Janie Mefford of Bedford, Mary Lovell of Texas, Ruth Wren of North Carolina, Martha Sublett of Bedford, Becky Sizemore of Madison, Indiana and Wayne Law (Sharon) of Bedford, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Chris, Danielle, Michael, Jessie, Jack, Tim, Bryan and Carl. He is also survived by twenty four great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Collins Funeral Home (465 W McClain Ave, Scottsburg, IN 47170). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations can be made in Elmer's name to Austin Wesleyan Church in c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
