It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Pauline McKinney of Scottsburg, Indiana, who passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Leon Stearns and Cecelia P. Stearns (Amick); her former husband Marvin "Fred" H. North; and her son Marvin Scott "Bouk" North. She is survived by: her husband Virgil "Mac" McKinney of Scottsburg, Indiana; her sons, Jerry North (Jill Richey) of Scottsburg and David North (Shirley) of Scottsburg, Indiana; her stepdaughter Jan Blackburn (Mike) of Burnettsville, Indiana; her siblings, Kay White (Don) and Ike Stearns (Regina); her grandsons, James and Justin Clay; and her great grandchildren, Bayleigh and Leslie North.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Collins Funeral Home (465 W McClain Ave, Scottsburg, IN 47170). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations can be made in Edna's name to Alzheimer's Association in c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
