He was predeceased by: his parents, William Benson Wells and Doris Wells (Smith); his sister Judith Zollman; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Bright, LeRoy Hall, Robert Owens, Bill Roseberry, Glen Zollman and Betty Roseberry.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his sons, Lonnie Wells of Crothersville and Adam Wells (Dawn) of Scottsburg, Indiana; his sisters, Donna Hall of Scottsburg, Indiana and Billie Bright of Scottsburg, Indiana; his grandchildren, Holly Couch (Eddie), Sara Igou (Dexter), Benson Wells (Megan), Nina Balderas (Amellio), Danielle Wells, Noel Welch, Nathaniel Wells and Natalie; and his great grandchildren, Cadin Igou, Lucas Igou, Nolan Igou, Raegen Balderas, Kennedy Balderas, Dallas Balderas, Adilyn Couch, Maxton Couch and Nova Wells.
Memorial donations can be made in David's name to Kosair Children's Hospital in c/o Collins Funeral Home.
