He is survived by: his wife Trina Vernon (Elswick); his children, Robert Vernon (Karen) of Cleves, Ohio and Amber Howard of Milltown, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Dominic Vernon, Mackenzi Vernon, Alex Montgomery, Alyssa Montgomery, Jasper Vernon, Emily Vernon, Steven Vernon, Joshua Howard, Carlee Howard, Jayce Howard, Isaiah Howard and Sebastian Howard.
