It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cassie Mae Amburgey of Scottsburg, Indiana, born in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on February 21, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Campbell and Amie Campbell (Fugate); her husband William "Bill" Amburgey; and her granddaughter Cassandra Reynolds. She is survived by: her children, Arnold Combs of Austin, Estill Combs (Brittany) of Scottsburg and Katie McIntosh of Scottsburg; her siblings, Erie Hirstein (Dale) and Arlis Campbell; and her grandchildren, Eli Combs, Lilah Combs, Chelsea Combs, Corey Sampson, Amanda Snowden and Hope McIntosh. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
