She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Glenn Murphy and Helen Marie Murphy (Blanton); her husband Haskell E. Alsup; her son Rodney Boyd; and her siblings, Ronnie Lloyd, Tim Capps, Patricia Donnell and Jenny Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Shepherd (Tonwia) of Dayton, Tommy Boyd of Scottsburg, Indiana, Linda Boyd (Danny) of Scottsburg, Brenda Marlow (Bob) of Dayton and Monica Nevils of Scottsburg, Indiana; her sisters, Donna Powell (Jeff) of Bloomington, Anna Marie Bunch (Randy) of Bedford, Laquita Kirkman (Kyle) of Bloomington and Frances Incollingo (Mark) of Bloomington, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Shane, Dustin, Kyle, Jeremy, Mandy, Brandy, Billy, Charity, Andy, Kenny and Missy. She is also survived by twenty-two great grandchildren.
