He was predeceased by: his parents, Mearl E. Berna and Anna Berna (Parks); his grandparents, Andrew, Marie Parks, Mearl and Alta Berna; his brother Mearl Gene Berna; his great-nephew Gunner Noble; and his brother-in-law Jeffery Deaton.
He is survived by: his wife Collea Graham of Scottsburg, Indiana; his stepson Mark Graham of Scottsburg, Indiana; his grandchildren, Jacob, Johna and Jayce Graham; and his siblings, Mary Jones (Kent Burress) of Scottsburg, Florence I. Burton (Bill) of Scottsburg, Karen A. Deaton of Scottsburg, Indiana and Larry A. Berna (Lynn) of New Carlisle, Ohio. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
