It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Gay Thompson of Scipio, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on March 19, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Selodon Johnson and Helen Irene Mosley Johnson; her husband George "Tommy" Thompson; and her brother Mike Johnson. She is survived by: her children, John Ellis of Franklin, Thomas Ellis of North Vernon, David Ellis of Hope, George "Tim" Thompson of Scipio, Deborah Deppe of North Vernon and Teresa Price of Trafalgar; and her siblings, Maria Bryant of Franklin, Virginia Lane and Paul Johnson of Amity. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
