He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Hammond and Dorothy Hammond (Green); his wife JoEllen Buckley; his children, Clayton Hammond of Indiana, Garrett Hammond of Scipio, Hollie Hammond (Nate Williams) of North Vernon and Amber Shepherd of North Vernon; and his grandchildren, Beau Williams of North Vernon and Kyler Cain of North Vernon.
Memorials may be made in honor of Michael through the funeral home to the Scipio Presbyterian Church.
