He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Burton and Maude Burton (Childers); and his wife Evelyn Burton. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Hollin of Scipio, Kathie Banning (Jim) of Scipio, Dennis Burton (Berta) of Seymour, Ronald Burton (April) of Scipio, Bryon Burton of North Vernon, Dallas Burton of Scipio and Douglas Burton (Deanna) of Elizabethtown; his sister Helen Pauline Perkins of Newbern; and his siblings-in-law, Roger Lee of Columbus and Naomi Merriman of Columbus. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Schneck Hospice or Hayden Cemetery.
