He was predeceased by: his mother Charlene "Sue" Bailey (Rednour). He is survived by: his father Roger Smith of Elizabethtown; his daughter Victoria Smith of Seymour; his stepfather Norman Bailey of Scipio; his sisters, Linda Hittle (Jason) of Columbus, Lisa Edwards (Mike) of San Antonio and Laura Haw (Alan) of Franklin; and his grandchild Damarion Smith of Seymour.
