He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Leahigh and Dorothy Leahigh (Poling); his children, Terry, Alan Leahigh and Kendra Ashburn; and his sisters, Shirley Leahigh and Janice Bradshaw.
He is survived by: his spouse Sundra Sage; his children, Gary Leahigh (Liz) of Columbus, OH, Bruce Leahigh (Vicky) of Tampa, FL, Tim Isley (Betty) of Scipio, Michelle McCasland (John Beverly) of Scipio, Yolanda McCasland (Kevin Field) of North Vernon and Shelley Rubio (Brian Acton) of Courtland; and his grandchildren, James Koontz Leahigh, Autumn Tichenor, Kyle Leahigh, Amber Rubio, Aisha McCasland, Prestin Isley and Caitlin Hess. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Memorials can be made through the funeral home to the Jennings County Animal Control or the American Cancer Society.
