It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hayward Day of Scipio, Indiana, born in Letcher, Kentucky, who passed away on August 29, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Day and Vera Day (Calihan); his wife Vivian Ruth Hogg; and his siblings, Iva Jean Day, Barbara Gindling and Ed Day.
He is survived by: his children, Terry (Judy), Tim (Gigi) of Okeana, Ohio and Kim "Sis" of Batesville; his grandchildren, Justin (Kelly), Kyle (Ashley), Jacob (Kayla), Caleb (Morgan) and Kelsey (Nick); his great grandchildren, Lydia, Lucy, Simon, Roland, Jameson, Evelyn, Henry and Juniper; and his siblings, Leon (Luann), Don (Sheila) and Linda York.
