It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Burnett of Scipio, Indiana, born in Lockport, Kentucky, who passed away on March 5, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oldham "Blue" and Vernon Dunaway (Holmes). She is survived by: her husband Harold Wayne Burnett; her children, Chris Burnett (Darlene) of North Vernon, Wesley Burnett (Christina) of Shelbyville and Angela Ford (Bill) of North Vernon; her sisters, Alma Minch of Owenton and Lilly "Billie" Marcum of Durham; her grandchildren, C. J. Burnett (Hayley) of Scipio, Ashton Burnett of Greenwood, Wayne Burnett of Greenwood, Amber Burnett of Shelbyville, Abby Rowlett of North Vernon, Will Rowlett of North Vernon, Adriana Rowlett of North Vernon, Ariela Rowlett of North Vernon and Chris Ford of Edinburgh; and her great grandchildren, Carter of Scipio and Nora Burnett of Scipio.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Crossroad Community Church or Our Hospice of Jennings County.
