He was predeceased by: his siblings, James Hillenburg, Rufus Hillenburg, Lenza Hillenburg (Amos), Ancil Hillenburg (Andy), Myrtle Fish and Mary Hanner.
He is survived by: his parents, James M. and Nellie Mae Hillenburg (Grubb); his spouse Carolyn Osborne; his children, Tim Hillenburg (Katrina) of Seymour and Anita Marlene Burton (Harvey) of Moncks Corner; his grandchildren, Larry Joe Lyons Jr., Carol Broadway, Bill Burton, Trent Hillenburg and Erika Berry; and his great grandchildren, Tyler Silence, Jacob Silence, Sophie Broadway, Mattie Broadway, Miles Berry, Harper Berry and Maximus Hillenburg.
