He was predeceased by: his parents, Lisle Minnick and Clara Minnick (Bowyer); his sons, Scott and Mark Minnick; and his brothers, Edward, Fletcher and Richard "Bud" Minnick.
He is survived by: his children, Rene'Houin (Mark) of Plymouth, Darin Minnick (Tracy) of Englewood, Erin Garcia (Alex) of Raymondville and Blaine Minnick of Scipio; his grandchildren, Bridget Miller (Andrew), Eric Houin (Lucia Bernacchi), Leslie Houin (Andrew Popp), Clara Martini (Jake), Olivia Dudash (Robert), Zachary Raterta, Devon Minnick, Celestina Garcia and Roman Garcia; and his cousin Rene. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home (437 Amos Rd, Shelbyville, IN 46176). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Salvation Army, in care of the funeral home.
