She was predeceased by: her husband Alton Lee Tucker Jr. (Tom) of Valentine's Day; her parents, John Polak and Anna Polak (Harvan); and her sister Mary Polak. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Kerr (David), Thomas Tucker (Sharon) and David Tucker (Priscilla); her grandchildren, Maxwell Tucker (Erin), Jacob Tucker (Jessica), Danielle Neher (Kyle), Jessica Castania (Dustin), Nathanial Tucker and Joshua Tucker; her great grandchildren, Addison, Everly, Caleb and Vanessa; and her godchildren, TerryAnn Defenser and Lori Hill.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church (8303 W Taft St, Merrillville, IN 46410). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Sojourner Truth House, 410 W 13th Avenue, Gary, Indiana 46407 (sojournertruthhouse.org) or to the Salvation Army.
