He was predeceased by: his grandson Matthew Aaron Monreal; his parents, Sherman Boggess and Lillian Boggess; his sister Mary Mayrack; and his siblings-in-law, Marie Sierzega (Connie) and Mike Viou.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Boggess; his children, Richard Boggess, Debbie Haager (Rich) and Michael Boggess (Clara); his grandchildren, Michael Boggess, Gabby Boggess and Reese Boggess; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Gasda (George) and Al Viou (late Phyllis). He is also survived by father when raising his family.
