Patricia Marcella Christenson Obituary
We bid farewell to Patricia Marcella Christenson of Schererville, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 18, 2025 at the age of 97. Patricia Marcella touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Petersen and Marcella Petersen; her sister Frances Sirko (George); and her friends, Barbara Johnson and Beverly Boguslawski.
She is survived by: her children, Frank "Skip" Lazzaro, Jr., Sheryl "Sherry" Lazzaro, Lynn Ricciardi (Frank) and Robert Christenson (Jackie); her grandchildren, Regina Pimentel (Phillip), Joseph B. Lazzaro (Alyse), Katrina Colvin (Cody), Brittany LaMere (Duke), Marcella Ricciardi (Joe), Chloe Ricciardi (Andrew), Zachary Christenson (Joseph) and Hannah Thacker; her great grandchildren, Phillip, Gianna, Dominic, Sofia, Joseph T., Frankie, Charlie and Braelyn; her sisters, Janice Raymond (late Dan), Mary Scheub (Gerry) and Carolyn Davidson; and her friend Tessie Bartos. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Michaels Church (1 W Wilhelm St, Schererville, IN 46375). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
