It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Panagiotis Efstathiou of Schererville, Indiana, who passed away on November 15, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Evangelos Efstathiou and Athanasia Efstathiou. He is survived by: his partner Shellie Scott; his siblings, Efstathia Fegga (Gregory), Sophia Deligiannis (Tryfon) and Dimitri Efstathiou; his nieces and nephews, Vasili Fegga (Athena), Taso Fegga (Eleni), Voula Fegga (Yianni), Tom Deligiannis and Elizabeth Karalis (Jimmy); his extended family, Steve, Selma Martin, Sherrie Smith (Gene) and Raymond Campbell (Stacy); and his nieces and nephews, Tiffany Wright, Amber Ashley, Nicholas Ashley, Peyton, Austin and Carly Campbell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smits Funeral Home (2121 Pleasant Springs Ln, Dyer, IN 46311). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 6:30 PM and on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:45 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery (23060 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60431).
