Lois Eenigenburg Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Eenigenburg (Schererville, Indiana), who passed away on March 10, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lois Eenigenburg to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Groen and Dora Groen (Kuiken); her granddaughter Alyssa Eenigenburg; her brothers, Frank Groen (JoAnn), Robert Groen (Geri), Howard Jr. (Barb) and Kenneth Groen (Geri); and also, Ethel DeVries (Gerrit), Lester Eenigenburg (Grace), Evelyn Swart (Claude), Lois Brink (Nicholas) and Kenneth Eenigenburg (Evelyn).

She is survived by: her husband Francis Peter Eenigenburg; her children, Brenda Cornell (Bruce), Keith and Sandi; her grandchildren, Emily Bush (Nate), Erin Marcus (Alexander), Benjamin Cornell (Janine), Phillip Eenigenburg (Cassi), Andrew Eenigenburg (Annaleah), Jessica Hoekstra (Jordan), Denise Kooy (Vincent), Joel Eenigenburg (Tabitha), Seth Eenigenburg (Brittany), Zachary Eenigenburg, Kyle Eenigenburg, Jason Dekker (Wendy), Jamie Lucas (Curt), Jeffrey Dekker (Ashley), Krystle Eenigenburg, Joshua Eenigenburg (Christie) and Kellsey Bultema (Brent); and her siblings, James Groen (Greta), Judy Mejan (late Hans), Evelyn Mejan (Max) and Cheryl Zimmerman (Richard).

“Brenda, Bruce, Sylvia and I were sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. It can be difficult to say goodbye to a loved one even when we have a firm faith in Jesus' promise of Resurrection. One consolation for us followers of Jesus is to remember that in death in Christ life is changed not ended. Your Mom's soul, you and your family are in our prayers.
