We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2024, at the age of 85, James F. Gritter of Schererville, Indiana, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Edith "Edie" Gritter; his siblings, Cliff, Gordon, Nelson, Nelma Jasperse (Mick), Will, Marian Broer and Willaine Gritter; and his parents, Rev. John Gritter and Jeanette Gritter (Schoolland).

He is survived by: his children, Judie Holleman (Mike) and Michael Gritter (Coleen); and his grandchildren, Julia (Michael Van), Mark, Sara, Luke Holleman, Ashlyn and Joshua Gritter.
