He is survived by: his wife Young Zin Chang; his children, Gene Chang (Eileen), David Chang and Elizabeth Joo (J. B.); and his grandchildren, Marcus, Carter, Tyler, Sophia, Elijah and Tobey.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kish Funeral Home (10000 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN 46321). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of memorial contributions, donations can be made to the Community Cancer Resource Center.
