He was predeceased by: his father Mack Sweeney; his siblings, Michael Sweeney and Kimberly Wagers; and his friends, Pepper and Beez.
He is survived by: his wife Amy Sweeney; his daughters, Megan Gildersleeve (Ed) and Kaitlyn Sweeney (Ian Barrett); his mother Faye Sprouls; and his grandchildren, Abigail and Jackson Gildersleeve. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Diabetes Association or Wounded Warriors.
