She was predeceased by: her siblings, Agnes Vander Giessen and Shirley Boer (late Mart); and her parents, Adrian Giessen and Elsie Vander Giessen. She is survived by: her nephew Bob Boer (Laurie); and her nieces, Linda Dekker (Scott) and Elaine DeYoung (Bill).
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Smits Funeral Home (2121 Pleasant Springs Ln, Dyer, IN 46311). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at the Oak Ridge Cemetery (1966 Thornton Lansing Rd, Lansing, IL 60438).
