He was predeceased by: his parents, William H Murphy and Elizabeth Murphy; and his sisters, Diane Itzack, Kathleen Kelly and Laura Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Moira Lebryk (Joe), Danelle Lorman (Doug), Mike Murphy (Donna) and LeighAne Kahl (Kent); his grandchildren, Jamie Stauffer (Matt), Jessica Jurkovic (Mile), Rylan Murphy (Kelli), Shaine Murphy (Alexa), Weston Murphy (Emily), Shaylyn Murphy, Jenn Johnson (Andrew) and Eric Lebryk; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Liam and Ava (Stauffer); his grandchildren, Bella, Kaija, Ila (Jurkovic), Lucy, Luke, Liam (Murphy), Adele (Murphy), Caleb, Isaac and Drew (Johnson); and his siblings, James, Bob and Shawn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Maria Goretti Church (500 Northgate Dr, Dyer, IN 46311).
