He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Dennis Pursel; and his brother Dennis Pursel. He is survived by: his wife Brittney Pursel (Campbell); his daughter Arya Pursel; his mother Irma Pursel; his sister Ruth Ortiz (Tom); his parents-in-law, Celinda and Randy Campbell; and his nieces and nephews, Eddie Ortiz, Nathaniel Ortiz, Lia Ortiz, Aspen Fisher and Sierra Fisher.
