It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Joan Sugg Cassidy of Santa Claus, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on December 14, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rayburn Sugg, Jr. and Joan Rouse Sugg; and her sister Judy Rae Sugg. She is survived by: her husband John Cassidy; her sons, Luke Hargis of Indian Shores and Slade Hargis (Katie) of Henderson, Kentucky; her stepchildren, Jennifer Scherzinger, Julie Aull, Ryan Cassidy and Jill Scudder; her siblings, John D. Sugg (Susan Wright Sugg) of Henderson and Mary Pat Anderson (Andy) of Mobile, Alabama; and her stepbrothers, Rod Sugg of Henderson and Ben Kasey of Bedford, Indiana. She is also survived by four grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
