He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edgar Vaal of Ferdinand and Marion Vaal (Wendholt); his wife Melody L. Showalter; his children, Sarah Webb (Shane Webb) of Irving, TX, Marcus Vaal (Karen Chau) of Park Ridge, IL and Colin Vaal (Dina Soloveychik) of Evanston, IL; his siblings, Bruce Vaal (LeaAnn) of New Albany, Lauren Rickelman (Kenneth) and Gina Johnson (Richie) of Evansville; his sister-in-law Lisa Vaal of Santa Claus; and his brother Michael Vaal.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ferdinand Catholic Church (840 Maryland St, Ferdinand, IN 47532). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
