It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Kanzler of Santa Claus, Indiana, born in South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on February 2, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Kanzler and Helen Kanzler (Tableman); his wife Genell; his aunt Selma Kanzler Tableman; and his stepbrother Bill Wiley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Benningfield (John) of Santa Claus and Joni Kanzler (Mark Schroeder) of South Bend; and his grandchildren, Shawn Benningfield, Matt Benningfield and Brittany Sollman. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
