With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Genell Kanzler of Santa Claus, Indiana, born in Chrisney, Indiana, who passed away on December 6, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl James and Eloise James (Crafton); and her brothers, Dean, Bob and Dick James.

She is survived by: her husband George "Fred" Kanzler; her daughters, Julie Benningfield (John) of Santa Claus and Joni Kanzler (Mark Schroeder) of South Bend; her sister Sandy Tullis of Santa Claus; and her grandchildren, Shawn Benningfield, Matt Benningfield and Brittany Sollman.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lincoln Heritage Public Library in Dale, IN.
