He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alvin Sr. Hoffman and Mary Hoffman (Fieth); his wife Ruth Ann Lechner; his sons, Keith Hoffman (Missy) of Dale, Kevin Hoffman (Beth) of Santa Claus and Kent Hoffman of Ferdinand; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Erika, Slade and Caleb Hoffman; and his sisters, Julia Wolf, Betty Luecke and Phyllis Messmer.
