He was predeceased by: his brothers, Greg Hughes and Don Hughes; and his brother-in-law Morgan James. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hughes of Sandborn; his children, Brad Hughes (Shawn) of Bloomfield and Natalie Davidson (Duff) of Eden Prairie, MN; his grandchildren, Brennan, Nolan, Amelia, Anthony and Maddie; and his sister Joan James of Linton.
