She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond 'Casey Allen and Margaret 'Maggie' Peden (Birdlow). She is survived by: her husband Oral Kay Sargent; and her sons, Gary Sargent (Gretchen) of Florida, Greg Sargent (Lori) of Sandborn and Todd Sargent (Angie) of Worthington.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sandborn Baptist Church in memory of Carolyn.
