He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Adkins and Laura Adkins (Crouch); his wife Winnie Jane Wood; and his siblings, Joyce, Rick and Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Pivarnik (Alan) of Demotte and Jeffrey Adkins (Denise) of LaCrosse; his grandchildren, Katie Carlson (Eric), Seth Pivarnik, Trevor Adkins and Jeremy Adkins (Katy); his great grandchildren, Sam, Henry and Tucker Carlson; his brother James "Jimmy" Adkins; and his close friend Judy Jelinek. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
