With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Shields (San Pierre, Indiana), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 15, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Shields and Jean Shields (Newman); and his wife Edna Shields. He is survived by: his children, Robin Moser (Scott) of Eaton and Richard K. Shields of Valparaiso; his grandchildren, Ashleigh, Alison Shields, Hannah Eggers (Brad), Cameron and Logan Moser; and his sisters, Carol Nowak and Kay Shields. He is also survived by 4 nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Kid's Closet, North Judson, Indiana.
