She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Messer and Equilla Messer (Clemons); her husband Wilmer Messer Sr.; her son Wilmer Jr.; and her siblings, Pearlie Mae Conley and Moses Messer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Annette Short (Joe) and Trish Patterson (Jerry); her daughter-in-law Michelle; and her siblings, Prudy Dobson, Patsy Clark, Kinnie Messer (Judy) and Paula Abbring (Dave). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 23 + great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
