He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Elrod and Margarite Naugle Elrod; and his son Johnny Elrod. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Sullivan Elrod; his daughter Julie Fleenor of Salem; his daughter-in-law Shelley Elrod of Salem; his sisters, Betty Dixon of Salem, Sunny Jones (Danny) of Salem and Karan Jones (Craig) of Salem; and his grandchildren, Allie Elrod and Cole Fleenor.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Washington County Community Foundation, Johnny Elrod Scholarship Fund.
