It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tammy Elaine McCarty of Salem, Indiana, born in New Albany, Indiana, who passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Franklin D. McCarty of Salem and Sue Warren Denton of Salem; her children, Jason Blevins of Oregon and Breana McCarty of Salem; and her sisters, Cyndee McCarty of Jeffersonville, Sherri Fleener of Salem and Toya Remaly of Louisville. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
