He is survived by: his parents, Kent Backus (Rhonda) of Salem, IN and Janice Fleenor (Tommy) of Scottsburg, IN; his grandparents, Loreena "Reenie" Smith, Everett Backus and June Bottorff; and his siblings, Britney Collins of Salem, IN, Brandi Backus of Salem, IN, Bridget Backus of San Antonio, TX, Tosha Gowan of Shelbyville, IN, Lindsey Crane of Salem, IN and Dalton Fleenor of Scottsburg, IN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
