She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Grubbs and Betty West Grubbs; her husband Donald "Squirrelly" L. Kemp; her siblings, Lyle West, Enoch Grubbs, Marie Dutchanoy, Ramona Brown and Louise Lee; her grandson Jason Grubbs; and her great grandchildren, Ryan Atchison and Dawson Atchison.
She is survived by: her children, Ray Gearlds (Sharon) of Elizabeth, Eddy Grubbs (Sheila) of Orleans, Lisa Rogers Guthrie of Salem and Crystal Lee (Robbie) of Salem. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
