It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Karen Bailey of Salem, Indiana, born in Lynnville, Indiana, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bailey and Opal Bailey of Lynnville, Indiana; and her nephew Brian D. Bailey of Bloomington, Indiana.. She is survived by: her brother David Bailey (Diana); her niece Sara Jo Stewart (Steve); her niece-in-law Jill Bailey; her great-nephews, Derek Bailey (Erika), Bradley Stewart (Emily), Colton Stewart (Haley) and Adam Stewart; and her great-niece Brittany Stout (Ryan).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ruth Karen's memory can be made to First Baptist Church of Jeffersonville or Hazelwood Middle School Show Choir in New Albany Indiana.
