It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rosemary Carter of Salem, Indiana, who passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Gordon and Clara Gordon (Williams); her brother Donivan Gordon; her half-sisters, Mildred Puglise and Virginia Nichols; and her pet Simon.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Thompson, Linda Alexander (Steve) and Mark Carter; her granddaughter Melissa Smith (Joe); and her great grandchildren, Victoria Wingler and Colton Collier.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hughes - Taylor Salem Chapel (107 W Mulberry St, Salem, IN 47167). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
