He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hopkins and Mae Hopkins (Spaulding); his son Danny Lee Hopkins; and his siblings, Wilma Brown, Russell Hopkins and Travis Hopkins.
He is survived by: his daughter Julie Ann Voyles (Hopkins) of Salem; his wife Mary Hopkins of Salem; his grandchildren, Emma Brown (Eli), Eric Voyles (Jill) of Calhan, CO and Kara Cooper (Shaun) of Fort Branch, IN.; and his great grandchildren, Layla, Mia and Amelia Cooper of Fort Branch, IN..
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dawalt Funeral Home (204 E Market St, Salem, IN 47167). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at the Crown Hill Cemetery (207 S Shelby St, Salem, IN 47167).
