He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Barnes Smith; his children, Brent Smith of Salem and Lacey Smith of Salem; his grandchildren, Brittany Smith, Cameron Coons, Caitlyn Coons and Sean Sanders; and his great grandchild Gauge Spicer.
