He was predeceased by: his mother Catherine Merko Lengel; his son Jacob Lengel; and his sister-in-law Shawn Lengel. He is survived by: his father Howard Lengel; his wife Rachel Noll Lengel; his children, Joshua Lengel (Danielle) of Salem, Benjamin Lengel (Kendra) of Underwood, Katie Pesce (Timothy) of Lexington and Abigail Lee (Zachary) of Brownstown; his stepmother Shirley Lengel of Pine Grove; and his siblings, Donald Lengel (Brenda) of Pine Grove, John Lengel of Pine Grove, Andrew (Tammy) of Pine Grove, Mary Matuella (Joseph) of Pine Grove and Elizabeth Thomas (Casey) of Schuykill Haven. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
