He is survived by: his son Robert Scott Whitfield of Jackson, TN; his siblings, Mike Whitfield of Livonia, Ruben Whitfield of Orleans, Terry Whitfield of Orleans, Randy Whitfield of Paoli and Peggy Nolan of Paoli; his grandchildren, Dillon Whitfield, Chanda Whitfield, Shelby Waynescott (Robert), Corey Neal Whitfield, Myranda Russett and Morgan Whitfield; his great grandchildren, Jaxon Waynescott, Thea Waynescott, Maisie Russett, Westyn Morris, Langstyn Whitfield and Coltyn Morris; and the mother of his children Dorotha Smith Janes.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Weathers Funeral Home (106 S Shelby St, Salem, IN 47167). A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
