We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Richard W. Gwaltney of Salem, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry R. Gwaltney and Leota Gwaltney (Harris); his sister Karen Gwaltney; and his sister-in-law Marcia Gwaltney. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Gwaltney (Julia) of Houston and Adam Gwaltney (Stacie) of Rochester, Minnesota; his siblings, Jim Gwaltney of Salem and Chris Gwaltney of Washington, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Hannah Gwaltney of Minneapolis, Ryan Gwaltney of Rochester, Sophia of Houston and Addie Gwaltney of Houston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“Dear Gwaltneys, My deepest condolences to you all. I googled Dick just out of curiosity and was so sorry to see that he had passed. In case my name does not sound familiar, I was part of the group that he worked with in the Milwaukee area, and my husband and I came to Indiana at least once to say hi while we were hunting for rocks. I enjoyed working with Dick, and I am sorry that we cannot visit with him again.”
